Two CWA Members Abducted at Work by ICE in St Cloud, MN

Recently two members of our sister-Local, CWA 7304, were abducted by ICE at their workplace, a New Flyer electric bus manufacturer in St Cloud MN. Both men had come to the US from Laos legally as small children, grew up here, and had worked at New Flyer for over 20 years. They have families and deep roots in Minnesota.

These ICE abductions are not about making our communities safe. Some families are sheltering at home and keeping their kids home from school. US citizens While these men had prior convictions, they had served their time and were productive members of their communities. Instead, ICE abductions are a violent and racist form of labor control aimed at dividing up the working-class, marginalizing and terrorizing immigrant communities. We must reject attempts to divide us and stand up to these racist attacks on our sisters and brothers. An Injury to One is An Injury to All!
