Nancy Mastenbrook, 59

On Friday, August 26, 2022, Nancy Mastenbrook passed away at the age of 59 after a short illness. Nancy was born April 2, 1963 in Winona, Minnesota to Leonard “Red” and Estelle (Holmlund) Mastenbrook. She attended Winona State University and worked for twenty five years for the Metropolitan Council in St. Paul.

Nancy had a great love of reading and classical music. In addition to her job with the Met Council, she worked part-time as an usher at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. She was a lifelong fan of the Minnesota Twins and spent many Saturdays at the old Metrodome cheering on her favorite team. She like crafting, mainly crocheting and card making, and those avocations took her and her friends to craft shows all over Minnesota.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Leonard; her mother, Estelle; and her beloved feline companion, Sweetie Pie. She is survived by her brother, Leonard (Pam) Mastenbrook; her twin niece and nephew, Claire (Toby) Mastenbrook and Carl Mastenbrook; and many cousins.

Funeral services for Nancy will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, 3480 Service Dr, Goodview, MN. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery, Minnesota City, Minnesota.
